The left adrenal gland was removed as it could not be detached from the wall of the cyst. The wall of the cyst was cut open exposing the solid component connected to the wall of the cyst with a stalk. A homogenous, smooth, ovoid shaped rubbery solid component connected to the cyst wall with a 2.5-cm stalk was removed (B).
