(C) An axial gradient recalled echo susceptibility-weighted sequence shows foci of susceptibility along the anteromedial portions of the lesion, which correlates with blood products. Note that areas of susceptibility do not correlate with areas of intrinsic T1 hyperintensity, indicating that the mass contains both melanocytic components and blood products.
