Figure 1. These images of our patient show swelling and enlargement of most of the distal interphalangeal joints in his hands and feet and significant flexed deformities in those joints. They also reveal onycholysis and a scaly, silvery, erythematous rash with sharply defined margins on his forearms, wrists, fingers, toes, and legs.
