Figure 7. Nuclear medicine (sestamibi) parathyroid scan on October 29, 2019. There was no hyperfunctioning parathyroid adenoma or exogenous parathyroid tissue identified. This was 1 day after parathyroidectomy and mass resection with a persistently elevated PTH level on laboratory evaluation.
