Figure 3. Clinical course of vital signs after intensive care unit admission. On day 2, a Swan-Ganz catheter (SGC) was inserted to evaluate the circulatory status. On day 4, the mean pulmonary arterial pressure (mPAP) was increased to 60 mmHg while a sudden decrease of mean blood pressure (mBP) occurred and SpO2 was decreased to <80%. On day 9, the same event occurred despite the deep sedation. The patient’s condition was stable after day 10 and the patient was extubated on day 23.
