Figure 5. Photograph of anastomotic leak and peel dehiscence. Intraoperative photograph showed anastomotic leak of cardioplegia solution between Triplex™ and Gelweave Valsalva™. The finding of a relatively clean surface of the grafts suggested no adhesion process had occurred between the grafts and the surrounding tissue (peel) 6 months after the initial surgery.
