Figure 6. Radiographic findings after first prosthetic readjustment (12 years after implant-prosthetic rehabilitation). The compromised teeth (16, 27, 35, and 43) were extracted. The loss of the distal support of the upper prosthesis on teeth 16 and 27 was compensated for with 2 implants positioned in the maxillary tuberosity. Tooth 35 was not replaced and the prosthesis was readjusted to become solely implant-supported. Tooth 43 was replaced by a single implant.
