Figure 1. Axial (A–C) and coronal (D) CT abdomen images in the non-contrast (A) and portovenous phases (B–D) show circumferential thickening (arrows) of the small intestinal wall with increased density evident on the non-contrast image (A), and further characterized by contrast enhancement during the portovenous phases. The presence of hemoperitoneum is also noted (asterisk). These findings collectively suggest the diagnosis of an intramural small intestinal hematoma with associated hemoperitoneum.
