Figure 3. Photomicrographs depict the histopathological features of necrotizing tissues affected by a necrotizing soft tissue infection. The images reveal extensive tissue necrosis, with large areas of cell death (green arrow). Additionally, there is evidence of acute suppurative inflammation (black arrow), characterized by the presence of numerous neutrophils and bacterial colonies, indicating a severe bacterial infection. These findings are consistent with a diagnosis of necrotizing soft tissue infection and highlight the aggressive nature of the inflammatory response.
