Figure 4. (A–C) On day 90 after initial treatment all the lesions observed had become to be flat scars. Some ides around healed lesions could be seen (distant allergic reactions). There were no Leishmania amastigotes. In the control stained smear, there was no lesion reactivation after 1 year of initial palliative treatment (6 months after childbirth). Because of a negative stained smear, antileishmanial treatment with antimonial was not given.
