(B) A layer of tall columnar ameloblast cells was observed around the central area, with their nuclei positioned opposite to the basement membrane and microcysts formed, plexiform pattern distribution with anastomosing cords, with cystic degeneration in a lax stroma. (C) Squamous metaplasia was noted, and the lesion extended into the soft tissue, although there was no infiltration of the periosteum into the bone trabeculae.
