Figure 3. Intraoperative findings. Inspection of the ascending aorta reveals that the intima is completely circumferentially dissected at the ascending aorta, forming a flap (arrow A). The inverted intima was trapped in the left ventricle and removed using forceps (B–E). Fortunately, the aortic valve and bilateral coronary arteries had normal intima, and the aortic root was repaired by applying BioGlu to the false lumen of the sinus of Valsalva (F).
