Figure 2 Transthoracic echocardiogram shows a moderate-to-large circumferential pericardial effusion measuring approximately 1.87 cm in diastole (blue caliper) and 1.87 cm posteriorly (yellow caliper). The effusion appears echo-dense with heterogeneous internal echoes, consistent with hemorrhagic or complex fluid rather than a simple serous effusion, as illustrated in the parasternal long-axis view (A), apical four-chamber view (B), and subcostal view (C), with the effusion highlighted by red arrows in each image.
