Figure 2 Contrast-enhanced computed tomography of the chest (coronal and sagittal views). An oval, multiloculated, heterogeneous collection with well-circumscribed margins and air–fluid levels is evident throughout the right upper lobe. The lesion measures 70×53×42 mm (approximate volume, 81 mL) and demonstrates wall enhancement after contrast administration; its maximal wall thickness is 3.2 mm, consistent with a pulmonary abscess. A moderate right-sided empyema is also present.
