Figure 1 Brain and spinal magnetic resonance imaging findings in a 55-year-old man with chlorfenapyr-induced toxic leukoencephalopathy and spinal cord lesions. (A1, A2) Axial diffusion-weighted imaging scans show diffuse, bilaterally symmetric leukoencephalopathy involving the cerebral hemispheres, corpus callosum, internal and external capsules, midbrain, pons, cerebellar peduncles, and medulla oblongata. (A3, A4) Axial T2WI scans show no notable signal abnormalities. (B1, B2) Axial T2WI scans of the thoracic spine show increased signal intensity and swelling in the lateral cord at T9 to T10. (B3, B4) Axial T2WI scans of the thoracic spine show no signal abnormalities or cord swelling at T9 to T10. Red arrows: lesions. T2WI – T2-weighted imaging.
