Figure 1 Abdominal ultrasound showing the sonographic image of the liver. Notable features include the heterogeneous parenchyma of the organ and the presence of numerous oval focal lesions with varying echogenicity. The largest, hyperechoic lesion with hypoechoic halo was located near the hepatic hilum.
