Figure 2 Digital frostbite. Grade 4 frostbite of the palmar right hand (A) and palmar left hand (B) with involvement of the dorsal hands (C) was visible on hospital day 22. Hard, dry eschars were present on all finger tips of the left hand and most finger tips of the right hand, with dark nailbeds indicating underlying frostbite injury.
