Figure 1 MRI brain showing FLAIR hyperintensity and corresponding diffusion restriction in the bilateral caudate nuclei and putamen, more on the right side, multiple areas of cortical diffusion restriction with mild T2 FLAIR hyperintensity in the bilateral frontal lobes and temporal lobes with involvement of the insular cortex, more on the right side. There is asymmetric bilateral parietal cortical involvement.
