Figure 1 Contrast-enhanced abdominal computed tomography demonstrates a well-defined, saccular aneurysmal dilatation arising from the splenic artery, measuring approximately 10 cm. The aneurysm shows a totally thrombosed lumen, with the patent enhancing portion visible peripherally and a central non-enhancing thrombus. The sac is outlined by a thin wall, with evidence of rupture demonstrated by hemoperitoneum and retroperitoneal hemorrhage, although no active extravasation is seen. The red arrow indicates the thrombosed segment within the aneurysm.
