After 3 weeks of perianal abscess incision and drainage and anti-infection treatment, the perianal swelling and purulent discharge were temporarily relieved, and the surgical wound showed partial healing. However, the underlying occult foreign body remained, which later led to the recurrence of symptoms and the formation of a high anal fistula.
