Afebrile Recurrent Cellulitis Complicated by Linezolid-Induced Lactic Acidosis in an Elderly Patient

Cumulative linezolid exposure across the first 3 hospitalizations totaled approximately 42 to 56 days and preceded the development of lactic acidosis during the fourth admission. All episodes were afebrile, with normal white blood cell counts.
