Figure 1 Large left convexity intraosseous epidermoid tumor demonstrating high signal intensity on T2-weighted axial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (A). The tumor was resected together with the overlying bone and repaired with an off-the-shelf titanium mesh; however, recurrence occurred 6 years later (B). Repeat resection with skull reconstruction was performed using a custom acrylic cranioplasty plate (C). Four years later, the patient returned with painful subsidence of the acrylic plate (D).
