Figure 2 After replacement of the acrylic plate with a custom titanium implant, the patient developed seizures, and an early computed tomography (CT) scan of the brain demonstrated a small focus of intracerebral hemorrhage at the posterior surgical margin (A). This hemorrhagic focus remained evident on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) performed on postoperative day 8 (B) but had resolved by postoperative day 16 (C). A final MRI scan performed on postoperative day 23 demonstrated resolution of all acute intracranial findings (D).
