Figure 1 Brain MRI demonstrating multiple acute embolic infarcts. (A) DWI shows a well-defined area of restricted diffusion in the left frontal insular region, consistent with acute ischemia. (B) FLAIR/T2 sequences reveal additional acute lacunar infarcts involving the left centrum semiovale and the cortical right precentral gyrus. No intracranial hemorrhage or mass effect is seen.
