(A) Axial diffusion-weighted imaging shows resolution of the previous right-sided lesion and the appearance of a new focus of restricted diffusion in the left centrum semiovale, partially overlapping the prior lesion site. (B) Corresponding axial fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) sequence demonstrates a subtle, faint ring-like hyperintensity in the same left-sided region. Overall, FLAIR sequences remained largely unremarkable.
