Erythroid precursors exhibit mild nuclear irregularities, and occasional megakaryocytes show subtle hypolobation without clustering or overt micromegakaryocytic proliferation. No clinically significant increase in blasts is identified. Cytoplasmic vacuolization is not readily appreciable in core biopsy sections. Original magnification ×40 (scale bar, 20 μm).
