Figure 1 (A–D) The abnormal signals in the third periventricular thalamus, tectum, infundibulum, and bilateral medial parts of the cerebral peduncle showed hypointensity on T1-weighted imaging, slight hyperintensity on T2-weighted imaging and T2-FLAIR, hyperintensity on DWI, and hypointensity on ADC. Contrast-enhanced MRI (T1 C) revealed atypical enhancement, with slight compression of the adjacent optic chiasm and the third ventricle.
