Microscopic examination: 2-mm internal scale; 100× power of magnification, transverse plane, and BRCA1-associated protein 1 (BAP1) specialized immunochemistry. Findings: BAP1 shows patchy loss of nuclear staining in mesothelial cells. The overall findings represent a low-grade epithelioid mesothelioma.
