Figure 1. Computed tomography (CT) scan of the abdomen and pelvis without contrast revealed a right hepatic and renal cyst, with no evidence of urolithiasis or obstructive uropathy. The orange arrow points to a 3.92-cm cyst in the medial lower pole of the right kidney. The kidneys are otherwise unremarkable. The green arrow indicates a small, centimeter-sized subcapsular cyst in the lateral right hepatic lobe. The liver is otherwise unremarkable. This exam was performed using automated exposure control, adjustment of mA or kV according to patient size, and/ or use of iterative reconstruction technique.
