Figure 1 (A, B) Hyper flexion and extension radiographs showed no instability of C1–C2. (C) Sagittal reconstructive computed tomography scan of the cervical spine showed cervical degeneration and multiple cysts in the upper cervical spine. A subaxial cervical stenosis was diagnosed based on the Pavlov ratio in C3–C7. (D, E) A huge mass was noted posterior to the dens. The mass was hypointense on T1- and T2-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). (F) Only the rim of the pseudotumor was enhanced on T2-weighted contrast-enhanced MRI.
