The gallbladder is markedly distended, consistent with biliary stasis. Axial T2-weighted MRI scan (B) showing severe atrophy of the pancreatic body and tail, with an absence of the dorsal pancreatic parenchyma, confirming the diagnosis of ADP. The red arrow indicates a large, inhomogeneous mass in the pancreatic head, compressing the common bile duct and leading to biliary obstruction.
