Figure 1 Severe linear excoriations on the patient’s calves, attributed to chronic pruritus. The photograph was taken during the most recent admission in May 2024, at a time when pruritus had slightly decreased. The distribution and morphology of the lesions suggest a secondary etiology, consistent with CKD-aP. The absence of primary dermatologic pathology supports a systemic origin.
