Positive tests included: B. burgdorferi serum IgM and IgG, B. burgdorferi PCR in CSF (Mayo Medical Laboratories), and CSF IgM and plaque reduction neutralization test (PRNT) against POWV (CDC, Arboviral Disease Branch, Fort Collins, CO, USA).
