Abstract
The case of a 37-year-old woman with an abscess of the abdominal integument is presented. MR was performed because of unclear clinical picture. The examination revealed the presence of two multicameral abscesses, one located superficially and the other deeper, on the right side of the abdomen. Gradual regression of the lesions, visible in subsequent CT examinations, was obtained after drainage. CT revealed also new fluid-filled foci different in character from the primary abscesses in the left portion of the pelvis minor. Their further observation by means of CT is planned.
