Carcinoma of the breast after preventive subcutaneous mastectomy

Abstract
A case of carcinoma of the breast 3 years after preventive bilateral subcutaneous mastectomy performed because of considerable extent of lactiferous duct epithelial dysplasia is presented. In our opinion, a more favorable method of preventive management of such cases is skin-sparing mastectomy.
