Abstract
We present a case of a 9-year-old boy with neurologic disturbances after cessation of antileukemic treatment. MR imaging revealed intracerebral lesions atypical of leukemic infiltration. Taking into account the presence of blasts in CSF and lack of features of CNS infection, CNS relapse of leukemia was diagnosed and treated. After treatment CSF examination was normal. Follow-up MRI showed regression of lesion thus confirming the diagnosis.
