Acute biliary pancreatitis in 11 years old boy - case report

Abstract
We present case of 11 year old boy with recurrent acute pancreatitis. During first episode of pancreatitis there were no complications. Clinical investigations showed no etiological cause of inflammation. During the second hospitalization performed endoscopy of upper gastrointestinal tract showed presence of single biliary stone in Vater papilla. The stone was removed and regression of symptoms, normalizations of distases and ultrasonographic imaging of pancreas were observed. From that time the boy feel well, has no symptoms in spite of return to normal diet and to extensive physical exercise.
